One card is different from the others, and it isn't part of their group
This puzzle refers to the solution numbers indirectly, with several steps to get there
You'll need to do some unscrambling, but not as a first step. The cycle on one card shows your pattern of activity - Solve -> Arrange -> Add, once for each set of words.
Each card has one or two lists of words on it. The words in a list all have something in common. There are three separate sets of lists of words, marked by colors and symbols.
The gaps in some of the words are a definite clue.
The words without gaps are missing something at the beginning or end
When you've figured out what's missing from the words on each list, keep track of them
You'll need to unscramble the missing letters from the lists. Each of the three sets (marked by color and symbol) form a word from their missing letters.
The missing letters from each set of words make the word form of a number (nine, ten, four). If you solve, arrange, and add, then you add 9+10+4 to get 23. The hint card is another clue to the number. OSLA AND STIB, when reversed as the arrow indicates, spell ALSO DNA BITS, which refers to chromosomes.
