This puzzle relies on arranging the cards relative to each other.
'All are right side up' means every card should be vertical in the pattern you build.
'The six should all touch' suggests that your pattern of cards will have the cards all touching each other.
The picture of the flower is a rose, so 2-rose indicates 'two rows' in the pattern of cards you build.
The pattern you want is two rows of three cards (a 3x2 grid).
When you have the right card arrangement, each set of colored strips will map out parts of a circle's edge, with a similarly colored small circle in that large circle's center.
The little circles with the animals are at the center of the larger circles mapped out by the strips. The arrows on two of them point to the other central animal circles.
'Watch what's crossed' means to look at the large circles made by the curved strips. There should be a number along the curve of each circle that would be crossed by it. Those three numbers are your code.
The order of the solution goes green, red, blue as indicated by the arrows. When arranged correctly, the red strips would cross number 7, the blue strips cross number 6, and the green strips cross number 2.
